Eventually, a lot of people just give up and accept that feeling terrible just comes along with having a uterus. I mean, who could blame them? Trying to heal and not getting results is the WORST. It's demoralizing.

Hi, I'm Breena!
I'm Breena and I've walked in your shoes, dealing with period problems and not knowing what to do about them.
I was recommended hormonal birth control and was told it would “regulate my hormones”. I felt confused, dismissed, and frustrated, knowing deep down something was wrong.
I wanted to cycle regularly to have a stable mood, energy, vibrant skin, and feel good inside my own body.
I decided to change how I viewed health and advocate for my health. I took a gentle approach that included walks in nature, yoga, eating nourishing foods, and most importantly self-love and acceptance.
I regained my cycle, cleared up my skin, and got my energy back. I found true health, balance, and happiness
I wanted everyone to experience living life to the fullest so I became a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, DOVE into the research, and took courses in functional nutrition for women’s health.
Today, I run a period coaching business that helps women improve their menstrual health so they can have an opportunity for natural, less painful periods, and to feel their best all month long!
WHY THE MINDFUL PERIOD METHOD IS DIFFERENT
Most programs will put you on restrictive diets and have you cut out all the fun parts of life. The Mindful Period Method is all about working with your body and your menstrual cycle (instead of against it). Along with learning how to improve your period, you will learn how to honor your body and find sustainable, balanced health.
My program also has access to optional functional labs so you can learn more about your body & periods
WHY I'M DIFFERENT
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1: Periods 101
In weeks 1 & 2, we are going to dive into what your period really is and why it's important! We'll discuss key hormones, the 4 phases of the cycle, what to expect during those 4 phases, and how you can live your life in tune with your menstrual cycle. You'll learn how to track your cycle in-depth and the pros/cons of different menstrual products. It's the health class you never got but deserve!
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 2: Mindful Nourishment
In weeks 3 & 4, we discuss how to be present while eating, making cooking more exciting, and how to nourish our bodies with our menstrual cycle in mind.
STEP 3: Embracing Stress
In weeks 5 & 6, we relabel stress to make it more manageable and less scary, and learn about some surprising sources of stress on the body.
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 4: Supporting Detoxification
In weeks 7 & 8, we identify ways to support the body's natural detoxification process and it’s tie with hormonal health!
STEP 5: Rest & Recovery
In weeks 9 & 10, you will learn the importance of sleep and how to optimize it. We’ll also find ways to bring more peace and less chaos into your day-to-day as well as where more rest is needed in your cycle.

STEP 6: Mindful Movement
In weeks 11 & 12, we will dive into how to move your body to support your hormonal health.
STEP 7: Follow-Ups
The remaining portion of The Mindful Period Program will consist of follow-up coaching sessions every other week to check in on your period progress and provide continued support.
